About Dave Banks Big Band
The Dave Banks Big Band- This powerhouse 18 piece swinging big band is based out of Akron, Ohio and is led by Ohio native and 20 year Las Vegas veteran trumpet artist, Dave Banks. The band boasts of having the very top players in the Northeast Ohio area including trumpeter John English, saxophonists Don Turoso, Bob Esterle and Dave Kana, trombonist Chas Baker, and drummer Mark Gonder. Dave fronts the band with his soaring trumpet reminding you of Doc Severinson, Harry James and Maynard Ferguson. This band will definitely make your event sparkle. Their repertoire ranges from original compositions to standard big band favorites. Featured vocalists have included Shannon Eller, Marsha Newman, Michael Sonata, John Morton, Barb Knight and Helen Welch. The music from many current top exciting arrangers is featured. They have played to packed houses at the Cleveland Bop Stop, Packard Music Hall, the Kent Stage, Carousel Dinner Theatre, and The Tangier Ballroom.

$ 25 for admission please pre-register at the canteen or purchase them online, seating is first come first choice. Whole table purchases are available and will be reserved for that purchaser only. Parking is in the rear and the doors to the show are located on the south side of the building. Handicapped parking in the front of the building as well as the rear.
